Dr Suzanne Lello
Specialist in oral surgery

Suzanne graduated with Honours from the University of Leeds in 2008. She went on to complete her vocational training in North Yorkshire, before working in secondary care in oral surgery, oral medicine and maxillofacial surgery as a core trainee in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

She was successful in gaining a National Training Number from the NHS to complete her Oral Surgery Specialist Training in the South-West, alongside undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals from the University of Bristol, which she passed with Merit. She gained a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and returned to Leeds to take up a Teaching Fellow post, teaching oral surgery in the undergraduate curriculum.

She then relocated to Edinburgh in 2016 and took up a locum NHS Consultant post in Oral Surgery, before securing a Senior Clinical Lecturer/Honorary Consultant position where she developed and ran a Postgraduate Certificate in Sedation and Anxiety Management, alongside teaching oral surgery in the postgraduate curriculum. She currently provides the full range of oral surgery services including IV sedation and implants in private primary care, and has recently taken on the role of Practice Clinical Lead.
